Savor a Slice of the Peach Cake This Spring at Hoehn’s Bakery

Last year, Hoehn’s Bakery celebrated its 90th anniversary. In the decades since opening day, three generations of the Hoehn family have worked in the kitchen and smiled at customers from the order counter. That's probably why one Yelp reviewer refers to their peach cake as "a Baltimore tradition." After all, the cake has been around for nearly a century.

The team only crafts their famous cake in late spring and throughout the summer, when local farmers can supply the peaches to them directly, so come by in a few weeks to try the beloved peach cake. You can also stop by today and grab one of the gourmet doughnuts, which locals also love. They're simple and classic, glazed with chocolate frosting or dusted with powdered sugar, and that's why eaters enjoy them so much. Gooey cinnamon buns, chocolaty brownies, and flaky crullers are just a few of the other sweets you can expect to find at Hoehn's Bakery.
